Zeagra tablets 50/100 mg is in a class of medications called phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors. This medicine is used to treat impotence by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This increased blood flow can cause an erection.

Zeagra (Sildenafil) is available in tablets.
Take Zeagra pills exactly as it was prescribed for you. Do not take it in larger doses or for longer than recommended by your doctor. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Zeagra 100 mg is usually taken only when needed, 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. You may take it up to 4 hours before sexual activity. Do not take Zeagra more than once per day. Zeagra can help you have an erection when sexual stimulation occurs. An erection will not occur just by taking a pill. Follow your doctor’s instructions.
Zeagra 100 is taken as needed, so it is not likely to cause an overdose. However, in case of an overdose call your doctor immediately. Symptoms you may notice are irregular heartbeat, pain, nausea.
Zeagra Precautions
Do not take Zeagra if you are taking any nitrate-based drug, including nitroglycerin patches, nitroglycerin ointment and nitroglycerin pills. Zeagra is contraindicated to patients with a known hypersensitivity to any component of the tablet
Zeagra Side Effects
Like any other medicines Zeagra can cause side effects. The most common reported side effects are stomach pain, facial flushing, nasal congestion, diarrhea. Tell your doctor if Zeagra is not working well or if you are experiencing any of the side effects listed above.
Zeagra Interactions
Zeagra extends the effects of the blood pressure lowering medications including nitrates, e.g. isosorbide dinitrate (Isordil), isosorbide mononitrate (Imdur, Ismo, Monoket), nitroglycerin (Nitro-Dur, Transderm-Nitro) that are accepted primarily for treating angina. Patients taking nitrates shouldn’t consume Zeagra.
Cimetidine (Tagamet), erythromycin, ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox) and mibefradil (Posicor) can cause marked increases in the amount of sildenafil- the active ingredient of Zeagra in the body. If you use any of these drugs you should be very carefully and talk to your doctor first before starting using Zeagra it is not recommended to take Zeagra with rifampin as this drug can reduce the effect of Zeagra.
